Importance and Types of Cash Crops in India

 

An agricultural crop that is cultivated to sell for profit is called a cash crop or a commercial crop. Farmers grow it on a large scale and sell it nationally and globally. Cash crops are essential for Indian farmers; they are a source of income and livelihood for them. India has many types of crops, including cultivated commercial crops. These are cotton, sugarcane, and jute, which are the three major cash crops grown in India.
